Barrday owns a differentiated position in the missile and space launch market with our offering of carbon fabric-based ablative prepreg materials used in rocket nozzles. Our position stems from a growing catalogue of intellectual property and the development of a domestic sourced carbon fabric–based phenolic prepreg.
In addition, we offer aerospace-grade thermoplastic tapes and fabric semi-preg for both civilian and military space launch applications. Our slit and standard width thermoplastic tape offering is based on carbon fiber and high temperature thermoplastic polymers such as PEEK, PEKK, PEI and PPS. Our fabric semi-preg is available in multiple carbon, aramid and glass substrates with a similar range of polymers.
